My cousin gave birth to a beautiful baby girl yesterday.
Congratulations to Marilyn and her little family xox
Elsie and I took Gwion to Beavers today, and as we went back to the car to come home we had to pass the library, this was not going to happen! After several squeals from the buggy, that got louder and louder, peace descended as we entered the blue automatic door. 50 minutes later and having 'read' most of the board books in the library we were off to the Co-Op before picking Gwion up. I'm still waiting for that afternoon cuppa!! And I certainly won't be working on my gauge for the Crow project, oh well.
We had a great time, and that's the main thing.
This is us

A Year and more of Crochet
I started crocheting properly last March with lots of help from a good friend and some books and of course Ravelry.
I've made quite a few things, of which I intend to take photos, so that they will forever be on this cloud, but that will have to wait as I have a serious cold, and I'm in dire need of my bed and some honey and lemon.

Pets aren't they the best!
This is a post showing my/our pets and the joy and laughter they bring to Fairview
Sam and Dharma,
the best pets you could have, so patient.
Well Sam is anyway.
Dharma just keeps out of the way!
And finally there's Jack, there was a Jane, but she died of old age.

2012 update
here we go. 2012 is one twelfth gone, and I need to make the most of it. With David Guetta playing I am typing up how my life will be in 2012. I am taking part in Janie Crow's Crochet Club. my yarn has arrived with the beads, and I can't wait to start when the patterns arrive. We have the Snorkmaiden; an LDV Convoy Minibus that Andy, with a wee bit of help from me are converting into a great campervan for our little family. Here are Gwion and Elsie on the way to Beaumaris for our final trip in the Snorkmaiden as a minibus, before it changed to Flintstones powered We have two new hens; Trinny and Susannah that will hopefully supply us with pastel coloured eggs. They are only about 5 months old, so not laying yet. (Better photos to follow) Elsie took her first tentative steps at the weekend I'll upload the video when Utube decides to work!!!!!!!!!!!!! Grrr
